Case Associate
Join our Case Team to develop case studies, support our Annual Case Competition, and help students build critical consulting skills through workshops and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the UWMCC casebook, including industry research and case development
- Support case selection for UWMCC's Annual Case Competition
- Review and evaluate case competition submissions to select finalists
- Develop case-related materials, including slide decks and supporting content
- Coordinate and support case workshops and guest speaker sessions
Qualifications:
Strong written communication; structured thinking; attention to detail; comfort creating slide decks; ability to evaluate qualitative and quantitative work
Operations Associate
Manage the logistics and financial operations that keep UWMCC running smoothly, from event coordination to budget management and funding proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for all club events, including forms, guest speakers, and registrations
- Develop event agendas and support event facilitation
- Work closely with Marketing to align promotion timelines and event details
- Prepare and manage the term event budget
- Track expenditures and manage club funds to remain within budget
- Secure future funding through proposals, applications, and pitches
- Maintain financial documentation and process reimbursements
Qualifications:
Strong organization and time management; budgeting and financial tracking skills; clear written communication; reliability; comfort managing multiple workstreams
Marketing Associate
Lead UWMCC's digital presence by creating engaging content, managing social media, and maintaining our website to reach students across campus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing plans for all UWMCC events across social channels
- Create promotional content, including graphics, posts, and short-form videos
- Monitor and manage social media channels, including responding to messages and inquiries
- Build, maintain, and update the UWMCC website
- Support club branding across internal materials, including sponsorship packages and slides
Qualifications:
Experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools; strong written communication; comfort working across multiple digital platforms
APEX Consultant
Work on real strategy engagements with clients, producing deliverables and gaining hands-on consulting experience while receiving mentorship from working consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with founders and client teams on 6-8 week strategy engagements
- Own strategic analysis and problem-solving for assigned workstreams
- Produce client-ready deliverables (PowerPoint decks, strategy memos, supporting analyses)
- Communicate clearly in client meetings and engagement check-ins
- Commit to a significant time investment and consistently meet engagement deadlines
- Receive structured mentorship from an APEX Advisory Board of working consultants
Qualifications:
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication; expert PowerPoint and Excel proficiency; professionalism; ability to work independently under deadlines. For upper year students with previous consulting experience.
Internal Administrator
Keep UWMCC organized and running efficiently by managing documentation, tracking deadlines, coordinating meetings, and fostering a positive club culture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal resources and documentation (e.g., shared drive)
- Track member compliance with deadlines, policies, and expectations
- Plan and maintain the club calendar, timelines, and internal plans
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, and presentation materials
- Ensure required resources and materials are procured for all club activities
- Support a positive and professional club culture through clear communication
